In the early 1980's, Afton and his best friend and business partner Henry Emily opened the first Freddy Fazbear's Pizza location. Henry manufactured, built, and designed the four main animatronic entertainers while William would handle the business side of things, such as managing paperwork and finances.

Afton had a strange fascination with Spring Bonnie, a suit which depicted a large androgynous yellow rabbit. He would wear it inside the pizzeria, via using a hand crank to move the inner metal parts of the suit away from his face, chest, arms and legs. By doing this, Afton could slip into the suit without worrying of being impaled. However, on around the date of June 26th, 1985, Afton abducted and murdered five children by luring them into a backroom dressed in the prior mentioned rabbit costume. He would then hide their corpses to avoid getting caught, possibly into the animatronic costumes. Police arrested Afton, but he was letting go due to a lack of evidence and the bodies never being found. This caused the spirits of the dead children to possess the animatronics, hungry for vengeance.

Many years later, Afton returned to the establishment once it had been abandoned in order to destroy the animatronics for an unknown reason, possibly out of paranoia. But all of this did was free the spirits of the children inside, and they swarmed their killer. Physically unable to harm him, they chased Afton into a backroom where he was cornered. Inside said room was the same rabbit suit that Afton wore to kill them. Afton put on the suit in order to fool them, but he forgot the suit was a dammaged Springlock’s Suit at this point. Afton began maniacally laughing at his victims, believing he was untouchable and could get away due to them just being children. However, due to his shaky movements and moisture dripping down from the dammaged roof, the inner mechanical parts of the costume all activated at once with Afton pressed right against them. Every part of his body was impaled and bludgeoned into pieces, and he dropped to the floor twitching in shock, where he lay and bled out right in front of the very same children he tormented for years.

With Afton suffering a horrific death, the children were presumably able to pass away, leaving him to convulse on the floor in the abandoned room. Almost immediately afterwards, the backroom door was sealed by an unknown entity, leaving him there to rot for the next 30 years. Sometimes, after his demise, Afton awoke in his own pool of blood, alone and decomposing. Due to his iron will to live, his soul was unable to rest and move on to the afterlife, resulting in Afton being permanently encased in the confines of his own creation. In the year of 2023, he was found by a couple of college students wanting to make a quick buck and put inside Fazbear's Fright, a horror attraction based on the infamous past of the Freddy Fazbear brand. Now free to do what he pleases, he abandons his old identity and accepts his gruesome rebirth, calling himself Springtrap.

Special Object : Cameras

In the world of Five Nights at Freddy's, cameras are at the heart of the gameplay. They allow the player to keep an eye on the animatronics and find out where they are in relation to him. In the case of Dead By Daylight, this experience can be illustrated by cameras that can see the movements of the killer, who has a very small terror radius. This makes ignoring the mechanics very punishing to survivors (just like the Five Nights at Freddy’s games).

When the chosen killer is the Animatronic, the designated map is set up with 10 cameras all over the place. These cameras are positioned according to a preset set of unique positions to each map, and TV sets (depends of the map size) also appear, giving players access to the cameras. The TV sets aura is always visible to all survivors.

When a player uses a TV set, he sees the cameras views and can switch between cameras with left or right click. When he looks at the cameras and see the Animatronic, the Animatronic is Located becomes visible to all players for 3 seconds and the Animatronic receives a notification indicating which TV set was used to spot it. The Locate mechanic has a cool-down of 20 seconds.

Power : Omnipresent Terror

To compensate for the fact that the Animatronic has a very small Terror Radius, he makes a lot of noise (heavy mechanical sound) when he moves, alerting survivors through the noise when they are within 15 meters of the killer. Omnipresent Terror increased the movement speed to 4,4 m/s.

When the Animatronic activates Omnipresent Terror, illusions of the Animatronic's movements sounds appears around players randomly within a range of 10 to 20 seconds and lasts 6 seconds to make think that the killer is approaching.

SPECIAL ATTACK : Murderer Rush

If Omnipresent Terror is active and the Animatronic spots a survivor in a range between 10 and 15 meters away while the Animatronic has the survivor in the center of its screen, Murderer rush activates so the Animatronic screams out and its movement speed increases to 7 m/s for 4 seconds, deactivating Omnipresent Terror at the same time.

Omnipresent Terror as a cool-down of 15 seconds.

When a survivor stuns you with a pallet, it automatically destroys it and you don't suffer the stun. The perk cool-down is 60/50/40 seconds.

When a survivor drops down a pallet, he takes a ‣ and gets the Blindness effect for : 4/6/8. Jump Scare has a cool-down of 20 secondes.

There is 5 balloon boy Toy that spawn in random lockers. If a survivor opens a trapped locker, he gets a ‣ and gets the Blindness effect for : 4/6/8 but don’t enter in the locker. The balloon boy Toy disappears and appears in another locker.
